Howdy! It’s Joey, back with more Fun Fact Friyay. Before we dive in…
Let’s chat about Viator!
I have a busy month of travel coming up next month, and that means planning activities to do. Sure, wandering aimlessly and stumbling upon something cool is one tactic. But if I'm going all the way to another country, I want to know I’m doing some of the top attractions.
Enter Viator, a TripAdvisor company. It has over 300,000 travel experiences across the globe, ensuring you can find something that suits your fancy.
Here's one of my top tips: Try Viator for the city you currently live in. I've discovered things in my own backyard that I didn't even know existed. And since there's a rewards program, you're making money by going out and doing fun things. That's truly living the good life.

Macaulay Culkin’s middle name is Macaulay Culkin.
It’s been a big week for the Culkin kids. Kieran Culkin won Best Supporting Actor for his role in A Real Pain, something I’ve been in since starting a new workout routine.
Kieran and his wife Jazz Charton share a pact to have another child anytime he wins a major award. So, we may be congratulating his growing family, too.
It was also around this time in 2019 that Macaulay Culkin legally changed his middle name. He was born Macaulay Carson Culkin, but, as he told Jimmy Fallon in 2018, he was looking at his passport and decided Carson could use a little sprucing up.
Would he have been so brash if he were speaking to Johnny Carson? Who’s to say?
Anyway, Culkin, who had a sturdy Twitter following before Elon Musk bought the platform and ran it into the ground, told his followers that he was going to legally change his middle name—and they could choose the result.
Users got to submit their best monikers, and Culkin picked his favorites to run in a poll.
The runner-up was TheMcRibIsBack. Rumor has it McDonald’s is still distraught to this day. Other finalists included Shark Week, Publicity Stunt, and Kieran, suggested by the younger Culkin himself.
Culkin made the announcement on Christmas Day, 2018. In April 2019, he said the name change was complete, though the process took longer than he expected. That means it’s been about six years since he’s officially been Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin. Amazing.
I like my middle name, so I won’t be making a similar change anytime soon. But if you’re thinking about switching yours, turning to a public poll might yield you some creative ideas.
Thank you to Kim D. for submitting this fact! Got something you want to see in Fun Fact Friyay? Drop a comment below or reply back to this email. As Macaulay might say, you’re you’re wonderful wonderful!
Lol. This totally reminds me of Boaty McBoat Face (and what happens when you let the internet decide)!

Odd timing cause I was just thinking this morning that my last name is overly complicated and could thus benefit from some simplification. Rick Rick? Though my legal name would be Richard Richard. Hmmm....
